Verbs in French can be a bit confusing initially, but with practise and help from a French Verb book, some patterns will emerge and students will gain understanding. IR verbs (2nd group)Specific information about how to conjugate -__ir verbs.__ Not all verbs ending in -ir follow this pattern, however. Irregular -ir verbs include ouvrir, partir, sortir, and dormir.
RE verbs (3rd group)
Specific information about how to conjugate __-re verbs__. Students will need to know the pattern for conjugating this group of verbs and will need to know how to conjugate entendre.Verbs such as __prendre__ , __mettre__, and __suivre__ are irregular and will need to be looked at separately.
